Notes:  Trophy Case left the bases loaded in the 2nd, 6th and 7th innings.

WP – Graham Church (6 K’s, 2 BB’s), LP – Corey Essenberg (6 K’s, 5 BB’s)
Saginaw – Jim McKay tripled, Jason Kowalski doubled, singles by Clay Church and Noah Thormeier.
JNC – Todd Hasse had 2 hits and Mike Evans singled.
Notes: Saginaw scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning with the aid of 2 errors.

Game 3:  M-46ers – 9 (6 hits) over Lumber Company – 2 (4 hits) in 5 innings
WP – Jerry Dankert (3 K’s, 1 BB), LP – Lee Ingles (3 K’s, 4 BB’s)
M-46ers – Keith Davenport had 2 hits, Terry Beaugher tripled, Jason LaJoice doubled, Sam Davenport and Jim Murphy singled.
Lumber Company – Steve Hijnal had a double and single, Jerry Kole and Shawn Wyckoff singled.

Game 4:  Coldwater Merchants – 2 (4 hits) over Mayan Agency – 1 (5 hits)
WP – Gary Newland (7 K’s, 0 BB’s), LP – (6 K’s, 3 BB’s)
Coldwater – Toby Elliot doubled, Kevin Dershell, Drew Bercaw and Ron Cary singled.
Mayan – Joel Buckley and Jason Woelke had 2 hits, Marcus Doan doubled.
Notes: Coldwater had a tripled negated in the bottom of the 6th with no outs when the runner was called out for missing first base, then Ron Cary singled with 2 outs and scored on a dropped fly ball for the winning run.

Trophy Case – Tracy Boetsma had 2 hits with an out of the park homerun, Matt Hall had 2 hits with a triple, Chris Weston had 2 hits with a double, singles by Mike Piehl, Scott Kelly, Brad Hasse and Steve Hopkins.
Coldwater – Toby Elliot and Ron Cary each had 3 hits, Drew Bercaw had 2 hits, Kevin Dershell had a triple, singles by Brandon Elser, Randy McCarty and Jeff Wilkens.
Notes: Trophy Case took a 7-5 lead into the top of the 7th inning when Coldwater scored one run to make it 7-6, and loaded the bases with 1 out.  The game ended on a line drive back to Trophy Case pitcher, Bill Yoder, who doubled off the runner at 3rd base.  Tracy Boetsma’s out of the park homerun in the 1st inning was only the 3rd out of the park homerun of the entire weekend tournament.

Game 12 (CHAMPIONSHIP GAME):  Trophy Case – 8 (15 hits) over M-46ers - 7 (8 hits)
WP – Tracy Boetsma (9 K’s, 2 BB’s), LP – Jerry Dankert (3 1/3 IP, 7 R’s, 10 H’s, 1 K, 1 BB) with relief from Bob Weiler (3 2/3 IP, 1 R, 5 H’s, 3 K’s, 1 BB)
Trophy Case – Tracy Piehl had 3 hits with a triple, Tracy Boetsma had 3 hits, Mike Piehl had 2 hits with a double, Scott Kelly and Matt Hall had 2 hits, singles by Brad Hasse, Chris Weston and Steve Hopkins.
M-46ers – Jason Young had 2 hits, Juston Davenport and Jeremy Doan tripled, singles by Sam Davenport, Terry Beougher, Keith Davenport and Keith Green.
Notes:  5-5 score after 2 innings, Trophy Case scored 2 more in the 4th and added one in the 6th to take an 8-5 lead.  M-46ers scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th inning to make it 8-7 with a man on base when the game ended with a strikeout.

Game 13 (IF GAME):  Trophy Case – 5 (10 hits) over M-46ers – 4 (10 hits)
WP – Duke VanderArk (10 K’s, 2 BB’s), LP – Bob Weiler (2 K’s, 1 BB)
Trophy Case – Mike Piehl had 3 hits with a double, Scott Kelly and Matt Hall had doubles, singles by Tracy Boetsma, Tracy Piehl, Shawn Racignol, Ed Smith and Steve Hopkins.
M-46ers – Jeremy Doan, Terry Beougher and Keith Davenport each had 2 hits, Jason LaJoice had an inside the park homerun, singles by Sam Davenport, Juston Davenport and Keith Green.
Notes:  Trophy Case scored 2 runs in the 1st inning on RBI’s by Scott Kelly and Tracy Boetsma, M-46ers scored 1 in the bottom of the 1st inning on an RBI by Terry Beougher, Trophy Case added one run in the top of the 3rd inning on Matt Hall’s double scoring Tracy Piehl who had singled to make it 3-1.  In the top of the 5th inning, M-46ers Sam Davenport singled with 2 outs and scored when Jason LaJoice hit an inside the park homerun to tie the game at 3-3.  In the top of the 6th inning for Trophy Case, Shawn Racignol singled, Ed Smith reached base on an error, Steve Hopkins reached base on an infield single to load the bases with 2 outs and Mike Piehl drove in Racignol and Smith with his single to make it a 5-3 score.  In the bottom of the 7th inning, the M-46ers loaded the bases with one out on consecutive singles by Jeremy Doan, Terry Beougher and Juston Davenport.  Doan scored on a wild pitch, advancing the runners to 2nd and 3rd with 1 out to make the score 5-4.  VanderArk (Trophy Case pitcher) came back from a 3 balls, no strike count to get the strike out for the 2nd out of the inning.  The game ended on a ground out from short to first.  Matt Hall, Trophy Case regular centerfielder, was playing shortstop due to Kelly’s catching assignment in receiving VanderArk as the 90 degree heat had exhausted regular catcher Brad Hasse.  Hall fielded the ball cleanly in spite of the runner from 2nd base running in front of him and then first baseman, Tracy Piehl, was able to hold onto the snow-coned catch to make an exciting finish of a long and very hot come back day for Trophy Case who had to win 4 consecutive games on Sunday through the loser’s bracket.
