The final game was called in the bottom of the fifth inning with one out and one runner at 2nd base with a score of 8-0 when lightning was spotted and a 20 minute delay began.  Within that 20 minutes, additional lightning was seen and weather reports of tornado watches and heavy rains coming into the area ended the tournament and the rains did come as the awards ceremony was being concluded.
