Mayan – Marcus Doan had 2 hits with a homerun, Jim DeBeau and Ryan Holzinger doubled, singles by Mitch Bohn, Joel Buckley and Ray Schoof.

Tiffany’s – Brandon Carbeno had 3 hits with a double, two hits each by Mike Meineke and Brad Gnatkowski and Gary Thompson doubled.

 

Game 13: Up to Date Painting – 3 (4 hits) over Mayan Agency – 2 (4 hits)

WP – Mike Spagnuolo (5 K’s, 3 BB’s), LP – Jeff Buckley (3 K’s, 4 BB’s)

UTD – Steve Shores hit a 2 run homerun to tie the game in the 4th inning, Jason Harper doubled in the 3rd inning, Tim Roberts doubled in the 5th inning and scored the winning run on two wild pitches. Gene McKinstry singled.

Mayan - Ryan Holzinger and Marcus Doan each tripled, singles by Derek Fillmore and Joel Buckley.

 

Game 14: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Blues Softball – 5 (6 hits) over Up to Date Painting – 1 (6 hits)

WP – Ryan Nichols (15 K’s, 0 BB’s), LP – Mike Spagnuola (1 K, 3 BB’s)

Blues – Jeff Kucharcyk had a bases loaded double that brought in 3 RBI’s in the 6th inning to break a 1-1 tie, singles by Shawn Davis, Jared Nichols, Lee Nichols, Mike Cross and Rich Brown.

UTD – Gene McKinstry had 2 hits, Justin Sherman homered, Adam Brechtelsbauer doubled, Tim Roberts and Jason Harper each singled.

Notes – Blues scored in the bottom of the 1st inning when Shawn Davis reached on an error, sacrificed to second and then scored on Jared Nichols RBI single. Jared was thrown out at the plate attempting to score on Lee Nichols single for the 3rd out of the first inning. Up to Date scored in the 3rd inning on Justin Sherman’s solo homerun and then the pitchers took over. In the bottom of the 6th inning, Shawn Davis led off for the Blues with a single and was then advanced to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Ouendag. Ryan Nichols was walked and Jared Nichols also worked the count to a base on balls to load the bases with one out. Jeff Kucharcyk drove a double to the fence in left center to clear the bases. He scored two batters later on an error to make it 5-1. Ryan Nichols, Blues pitcher, closed the door on Up to Date in the top of the 7th inning for the win.
